Objective of Committee

The Marketing & Communications Committee for GBTA - North Central Chapter is comprised of the areas of Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media and the Newsletter.  The objective of this Committee is to keep the public and all relevant media outlets informed of pertinent association information, communicate appropriate and educational information to members via social media outlets, create brand awareness for the association and promote all GBTA North Central Chapter events throughout the year. 

Members of the Committee will achieve the goals by developing and distributing press release statements to media channels for each of the GBTA - North Central Chapter events and posting articles of interest in a timely and informative manner using Social Media tools.  The Committee will connect with and engage members and others of the business travel community by educating and inspiring them to participate in, learn with, and further develop the North Central Chapter.

The Committee is also responsible for creating an ongoing impression in our members’ minds of GBTA - North Central Chapter being the authoritative voice of the global business travel community.  By consistent, professional communication, GBTA - North Central Chapter will be seen as the foremost dependable association within our community driving the educational advancement and professional image of our members.
